How's how to cook crispy hash browns like pro. :)
It's difficult to cook hash browns that come out crispy. Here's a few tips that really seem to help:
- You MUST has a cast iron pan or a cast iron griddle.
- You must warm that puppy up until it's pretty dang screaming hot then add your first oz of oil.
After adding your oil drop in the hashbrown and let them cook for around 5 -7minutes without touching them.
(In the mean time toss on top the onions and salt and pepper)
After 5 or 7 mintues flip over the hashbrowns and drizzle 1 Tbsp of oil over the top of the hashbrown. This wil all the oil to seep through to the bottom evenly. Allow to cook another 5 mintutes. Keep up this same process until the desired level of "doneness" is achived!
