Great for any party or snack
1.In large skillet cook onion in butter over moderately low heat,stirring until softened but not browned.
2. Add port and boil mixture over high heat until almost all liquid is evaporated. season the mixture with pepper and salt to taste. let it cool to room temperature.
3.In food processor grind cheddar fine then add cream cheese and sour cream until smooth
4. Add the port , onion mixture and blend well.5.Add the walnuts and pulse processor until just combined.
6. Serve with crackers.
